In today’s world, it is essential that scientists be able to explain their research and its importance to non-scientific audiences. It is also important to broaden the impact of the project beyond the participants and increase public awareness of societal problems, like food security, that science can help solve. To address these needs, we have planned three outreach activities for different audiences.
